Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations 2019
Monday 2nd September to Sunday 8th September 2019
At The Hindu Temple (Bristol)
Aapka or kushiyon ka janam janam ka sath ho
Aap ki tarakki ki har kisi ki zuban par baat ho
Jab bhi koyi mushkil aaye
Toh my friend Ganesha humesha aap ke saath hai
Ganpathi Bappa - Moryaa!! Now in its 11th year!! Based on the enjoyment and success of previous Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, we will once again celebrate this event, but in a much bigger and more vibrant fashion for our eleventh year celebration. Lovely food, wonderful Bhajans, musical entertainment and the very popular Visarjan ceremony at Portishead Marina will all feature as part of this year's celebrations.
Bharti Kathrecha has volunteered to take the lead in organising this year's event, which will take place between 2nd September and 8th September. Please see the enclosed programme of events for further details. On behalf of the Ganesh Chaturthi Team, you are all very warmly invited to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi 2019.
All of the events which take place in our Mandir allow us to come together and enjoy ourselves as a FAMILY. Each of our major events help to generate much needed funds for the up-keep of our Mandir, and this would not be possible without all of you, who always help and make generous donations. For your generosity and kindness, may Ganpathi Bappa bless you all.
This year, opportunity is available for 5 families to sponsor this event as the Main Yajman. If you would like to be 1 of the 5 sponsors, please contact Bharti Kathrecha or Rasikbhai Patel.
It's not for the money, it's not for fame, it's not for any personal gain.
It's just for love of fellow man. It's just to lend a helping hand.
It's just to give a tithe of self. That's something you can't buy with wealth.
It's not for medals worn with pride. It's for the feeling deep inside.
It's that reward down in your heart, it's that feeling that you have been a part of helping others far and near. That makes you be a VOLUNTEER!
Hoping this Ganesh Chaturthi will be the start of a year that brings you all the happiness. Please come and join in the celebrations and make this a successful event for all to enjoy
Jai Ganesha
